Facilitates the development and ongoing management of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective medication therapy. Ensures the efficient utilization of resources to meet productivity and financial goals. Inspires a shared vision, demonstrating the value of change and presenting it to co-workers with enthusiasm. Holds direct and indirect care providers accountable for their professional responsibilities and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Qualifications:Experience: Experience in other pharmacy settings such as hospital, retail, specialty and/or ambulatory practice.Required Education: Requires an advanced pharmacy degree with clinical practice emphasis. Management training, in addition to clinical training, is also a benefit.Certifications: Applicable State Board of Pharmacy Medication Therapy Services Certificate, PGY-1 or Board Certification or minimum 5 years of clinical experience. Other: This position requires an individual possessing both clinical and management skills and career interest.
