We are looking for a Medication Manager to join our team at Arboreta Premier Estates of Elmwood.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Arboreta Medication Manager, essential duties and responsibilities include:
Identify residents before administering care , serving meals, etc., as necessary.
Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner.
Use only authorized abbreviations established by the facility when recording information.
Report all observed incidents of abuse and accidents on the shift that they occur.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Qualifications including minimum skills, experience and education required include:
Must posses a high school diploma.
Must maintain any state or local certifications required to meet job qualifications.
Must possess a medication aide or medication manager certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
Must be willing to seek new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
