Licensed Barber (or barber-focused hairstylist) at Successful West Hartford Barber Shop
Responsibilities
As our newest member of the team, you would be responsible for handling the majority of walk-ins and phone inquiries (of which there are many of both). When not behind the chair, team tasks include laundry, sweeping, assisting other barbers, and general overall support of the shop throughout the day.
Our shop currently consists of 5 barbers who have worked together for the last 8 years as a core, with some having been together as long as 15. We moved to our current location in West Hartford in November after seven years in Newington and sixteen years previously in Berlin. While each barber handles their own 'business', we still function as a team, working under the strong belief that a rising tide floats all ships. We elevate each other and, in doing so, we find success ourselves.

Qualifications
- Current Connecticut Barber's License or Hairdresser/Cosmetologist's License (or nearing completion of school)
- The ability to take your work seriously without taking yourself too seriously
- Must be able to balance being a part of a team with the autonomy and responsibility of being your own boss.
