CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: Automatic Door TechnicianTradesperson must have knowledge and / or experience with the following skills:PROFICIENT KNOWLEDGE:Carpentry-partition framing metal/wood studs, installation of basic cabinetry/countertops, installation of doors/windowPainting-interior & exteriorFlooring-installation of VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares and cove baseBASIC KNOWLEDGE: Plumbing-replacement/installation of sinks, faucets, toilets and basic drainage and water lines (licensed plumbers encouraged to apply)Electrical-replacement installation of light fixtures, switches and outlets, capable of basic data connections and able to diagnose minor electrical problems (licensed electricians encouraged to apply) HVAC- Knowledge of refrigeration, PM Service callsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Install door frames, rails, steel rolling curtains, electronic-eye mechanisms, and electric door openers and closers, using power tools, hand tools, and electronic test equipment.Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment. Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipmentCommercial renovations/buildoutsBasic computer skillsAbility to follow OSHA requirementsPresentable and possess the ability to communicate with customers to build relationshipsDetailed when it comes to repairs made, including but not limited to measurements, pictures, recommendations for repairs and quotesAbility to work overtime and/or on-call as workload and emergency issues dictate JOB REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
