Job Description

Work within a team of outpatient pediatric rehabilitation specialists seeing pediatric patients including NICU follow-up patients on a weekly basis.
Evaluate pediatric outpatients for speech-language and swallowing/feeding difficulties.
Design and carry out SLP plan of care based on findings and evidence based practice.
Document and drop appropriate charges on all patient interactions and confidently navigate the electronic medical record.
Provide patient/family/caregiver education as indicated.
Ensure customer satisfaction as well as quality of care and patient safety.
Communicate/collaborate with other Rehab professionals, physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited SLP post-graduate program required

License/Certifications:
Must be fully certified and licensed in NJ required

Minimum Experience:
2+ years working with pediatric feeding/swallowing disorders
NICU experience preferred
