Position Description:
  • Responsible for low voltage electrical system on F150
  • Support plant on any Stop ships, campaigns, quality issues.
  • Lead V18/V19 - Low Voltage Wiring & EDS Components/Electrical Power
  • Early Claims Binning/re-binning, read claims, contact dealerships on parts, make HOT requests to ship parts to suppliers for root cause evaluation.
  • Manage Quality project inputs, project health, and glidepaths.
  • Provide part sign-off's to support builds.
  • Review and sign-off Supplier Request for Engineering Authorization.
  • Support Plant Material Cost Reduction blitzes.
  • Chair/support Electrical Variability Reduction Team meetings.
  • Support First Time Through issue resolution at plant.
  • Participate in Kansas City - based Vehicle Functional Group and Functional Quality Review meetings when on the agenda.
  • Coordinate/Support engineering change trials.
  • Use local supplier rep if available.
  • Support fresh eyes reviews on pre-builds.
Skills Required:
  • Technical ability to remove and replace parts on vehicles.

Skills Preferred:
  • 6 sigma green or black belt trained.

Experience Required:
  • Minimum. Will work with candidate.

Education Required:
  • BSME/BSEE
