We are hiring Night Shift Per Diem RN’s to join our inpatient team. These are 12 hours shifts, minimum of 4 shifts per month.

Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. We are an acute care psychiatric hospital providing care to both voluntary and involuntary patients. We believe in a team approach to care which includes our amazing providers, nurses, mental health technicians and therapy team members. RN’s promote and restore patients' or clients mental health in a safe and therapeutic environment through direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process; create psychiatric care plans and wrap around services within a medical model; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervise assigned team members. Wellfound is located on the beautiful South Puget Sound in Washington. We are an hour drive away from the beautiful Cascade Mountain range, and Mount Rainier. This area is known for an outdoor lifestyle including boating, biking, hiking, and skiing. Tacoma is the second largest city in Washington state. There is access to concert venues, sports arenas, and a thriving micro-brewery and spectacular wine community. We offer competitive pay and benefits for Per Diem positions: Hourly- $39.53 - $73.28 based on the union scale for experience Shift Differentials: $4.25 nights and $3.00 weekends Employee Assistance Program up on hire 403B with discretionary match for those that participate in the plan and meet work requirements You will accrue Paid Sick and Safe Leave at 1 hour per 40 hours worked. Paid Sick leave cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date Union Membership As a condition of employment, you must join the SEIU Union within thirty (30) calendar days of employment and remain a member in good standing of the Union, unless you submit and are approved for a religious exemption.

What We Require:

Current Washington State license without restrictions or accepted compact license One year psychiatric nursing experience Candidate should possess strong nursing assessment skills Basic Life Support (BLS) card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
