Overview:
This is a REMOTE position.
Reporting to the Manager of Claims Administration, the Managed Care Operations Manager supports the ongoing operational strategies of Mercy Benefit Administrators within the Managed Care department. This role will include being responsible for managing projects and implementations as assigned in order to maximize the efficiency of the Claims Administration department. This involves collaboration with departments across the Ministry and escalating issues and concerns accordingly. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in business, healthcare administration, computer science or a related field or commensurate experience in lieu of the degree in addition to the required experience
Experience: Experience in healthcare, preferably with claims administration, either provider or health plan.
Preferred Education: Masters degree in business, healthcare administration, computer science or a related field.
