Engineering Geologist

DMY Engineering Consultants, the leader in delivering integrated engineering solutions throughout the lifecycle of public and private sector projects, is seeking a Stand Out Engineering Geologist for our Chantilly, Virginia Office

You should hold a BS in Geology or Geological Engineering. You should be methodical, detail-oriented, and results-focused. You must be able to work in a team that values integrity, collaboration, dedication to clients, innovation, excellence, and respect. You should expect to primarily work outdoors in a variety of environments including wooded areas, steep terrains, highways within protected work zones, and urban streets and commercial zones. You should be prepared to work on out-of-town projects throughout VA and MD, when necessary, and commute to the job sites weekly. Lodging and per diem will be provided for out-of-town projects. You will be primarily working with geotechnical and/or environmental drilling crews in the field to collect pavement, soil and rock samples, log borings, supervise drilling crews, and coordinate with utility locators/owners, clients, and the project team.
