**Responsibilities**

CHI St. Alexius is hiring a Full Time Athletic Trainer to assit with the U Mary program partnership.

The Athletic Trainer provides athletic training services. Works with others and carries out duties consistent with the mission, vision and values of St. Alexius Medical Center.

**What You'll Do:**

+ Provides athletic training services to contracted participants of the St. Alexius Medical Center Sports Medicine program or patients and clients of the HPC.

+ Completes all necessary documentation in a timely fashion.

+ Completes all billing in a timely, complete and accurate manner.

+ Provides leadership and guidance in areas such as competency development and maintenance, performance improvement, customer satisfaction, and program development.

+ Facilitates positive team development and interaction.

**Qualifications**

**Education:** Masters degree in Athletic Training.

**Licensure:** Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in North Dakota (or licensure eligible).

**Skills:** Ability to operate computers and enter data. Ability to multi task and change direction and plans during the day as circumstances change. Ability to independently problem solve and make decisions.

**Physical Effort:** Medium. Requires the ability to walk and move around the department and medical center at 3.5 mph with maximum lifting at 50 pounds.

**Hours of Work:** Variable. Department hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Must be able to stay after scheduled work time and have a backup plan in place which will allow work beyond the scheduled work time to account for unexpected situations or work load.

**Pay Range**

$19.8 - $26.48 /hour
