Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm specializing in litigation is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Tiburon, CA. The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of California civil litigation experience and will be responsible for handling various trial preparation and case management tasks.
Duties:
Work on litigation cases and assignments, preparing for trial and/or settlement
Collaborate with insurance carriers, attending court appearances, depositions, and client meetings
Draft and respond to letters, discovery requests, motions, etc.
Independently maintain a caseload, advancing cases procedurally and prioritizing deadlines
Conduct legal research, issue spotting, and draft legal documents such as memos, pleadings, motions, and discovery
Provide strategy and recommendations for case defense
Maintain professionalism at all times
Requirements:
1-2 years of California civil litigation experience
Experience in Civil Litigation in CA Superior Court
Experience in mediations, depositions, attending court appearances, and oral argument
Ability to review and summarize medical records preferred
Admission to California Bar in good standing
Skills:
Self-starter with accountability and punctuality
Excellent communicator and team player
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Proficient in legal research and writing
Education and Certifications:
Admission to California Bar in good standing
