Occupational Therapist

The Occupational therapost (OT) provides specialized Occupational therapy services to residents and is respnsible for the direction and supervision of COTAs, Rehab Aides and affiliating Occupational therapy/Occupational therapy assistant students. The OT works closely with other facility departments to assure the delivery of quality resident care. The OT is responsible to the Director of Rehabilitation Services.
Requirements
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license or certificate to practice as an OT in this state
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language
- Must posses the ability to make independent decisons, when circumstances warrant such action
- Must be knowledgeable of medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously wiht and supervise other personnel
