Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Job Description:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials and advanced imaging equipment. Duties include:

  • Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients
  • Operating specialized imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET scanners
  • Conducting imaging procedures to capture functional information about organs and tissues
  • Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret imaging results
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to safety protocols

Requirements:

  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification
  • State licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
