As a Material Handler, you will handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. You will operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment. You will report to an Operations Planning Manager and work onsite in Springdale, PA.Main Responsibilities:Uses fork truck to move drums/totes/pallets of chemicalsPours samples of chemicals to distribute to labs.Preassembles chemical for use in production batches, verifying quantities and shelf life.Unloads tank wagons of chemicalsUnloads inbound raw materials.Labels and puts them away.Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisorQualifications:High School Diploma requiredAttention to detailAbility to safely operate material handling equipment (fork truck/pallet jack/etc.)Able and willing to wear a respirator and other PPEBasic computer operation skillsBe able to complete outdoor work in all weatherAbility to works as a team and be able to work unsupervised, with personal accountability and reliabilityPreferred:Previous fork truck experiencePrevious shipping experienceERP experienceDOT certification/or willingness to get it.Interest in advancing in a shipping/receiving rolePPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
