Job description:
We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst with at least 5+ years of IT experience and strong health domain experinece.
• Looking for someone who would be interested in contract to hire.
• We need someone local to Mukilteo, WA , expectation that this person would be hybrid onsite
• This person would be working with all the internal systems used by the HF folks so someone with a background in manufacturing/distribution would be great, if they had any kind of experience in the device/drug space that would be awesome.
• Working in an Agile setup, writing user stories etc. would be a given.

JOB OVERVIEW: The IT Business Analyst focuses primarily on business requirements, workflow and leveraging technology to enable or alter business processes or practices. Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Understand business practices and approaches, organization, politics, and culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Capture requirements and document user requirements based on end-user input for both new and existing systems, business processes, and applications.
  • Provide quality assurance and testing support.
  • Write user stories to describe details of changes required.
  • Assist in the development of test plans and test cases.
  • Review and document the "as is" state, if necessary and develop and document the "to be" state.
  • Ensure that solutions developed comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor deliverables to ensure client needs are met successfully and in a timely manner.
  • Translate business needs into system requirements, working closely with the development team to ensure they understand and can meet the requirements.
  • Participate in daily, weekly meetings including status checks, short- and long-term planning, backlog refinement and defect triage
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
  • Ability to operate in an Agile environment; ability to write user requirements, user stories and test plans.
  • Practice clear, professional, and collaborative communication in all internal and external channels.
  • Perform user acceptance testing and review QA test cases, test plans, defect resolutions whenever required.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and succeeding in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to access users' goals and needs regarding the implementation/appropriateness of technology solutions.
  • Participate in the completion of change management and validation documentation.
GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience.
  • Ability to work well with peers and build productive working relationships.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and ability to drive results through a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to interface and effectively influence all levels of the organization.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with user story documentation, story mapping, business or technical requirements documentation preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/distribution environment preferred.
