VCT Tech

A client in San Diego is looking for a VTC technician to work in Point Loma. The chosen candidate will support the installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both classified and unclassified VTC hardware systems throughout NIWC Pacific. This includes, but is not limited to, CISCO Telepresence Video Communication Server (VCS), CISCO VCS Expressway, CISCO Telepresence Codecs, and AMX Audio Video Control Systems. The candidate will also support operation of Christie and Planar HD LED video walls/associated controllers and will perform communications support for Integrated Services Digital Network, Defense Information Systems Agency networks, Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) and commercial interconnects in both small and large command venues.

This position is full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA. Candidate must be located within the San Diego metro to be within daily commuting distance of the work location.

- Two (2) years of demonstrated experience in the operation and troubleshooting of hardware systems for the purpose of maintaining both classified and unclassified VTC facilities (ideally CISCO and AMX)

- Must be a US Citizen.

- Must possess a DOD Secret clearance (or higher).

- HS/GED Diploma

- Experience with Microsoft Teams

- Experience with Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) Navy equipment and operation

- Must be a US Citizen and possess an active DoD secret clearance at the start date.
