If this sounds like the right place for you then keep reading and learn more about why MiraVista is the perfect place to work.How You Care for Our PatientsAs a Group Therapist:You will be an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.You will Provide and coordinate clinical programming to adult behavioral health/co-occurring addiction patients in an acute inpatient setting.Trauma Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Change Theory and Motivational Interviewing will be utilized throughout the group program curriculum.You will work with clinical staff including Group Program Coordinator to develop appropriate group topics and coordinate group schedules.You will lead groups on all units.You will be an active member of the treatment team and will participate in treatment team meetings and treatment planning.You Bring Meaningful ExperienceSuccessful candidates will have the following:Master's degree in a related field required; license is preferred (LMHC, LICSW, OT or comparable can be considered).Advanced level knowledge and experience in leading groups in a behavioral health setting.Knowledge and experience with group leadership, Trauma Informed Care, CBT, DBT, Change theory and Motivational Interviewing are required.Must demonstrate competency in the areas listed in this job description and possess the knowledge base, skill and ability to work in an acute inpatient setting.Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Health Record required.About MiraVista MiraVista Behavioral Health Center is a new health care provider created to bring much needed psychiatric and substance use recovery services to Western Massachusetts.
