The RN Clinical Coordinator will manage staffing, clinical competencies, and provide clinical services on the 513 Bus and in the community. The Hamilton County 513Relief Bus provides Health Screenings, Social Services & Economic Relief to our Community. Funded by Hamilton County Commissioners, the 513Relief Bus provides resources directly to residents using a community-based approach. The bus is a mobile medical and social services bus. The bus is equipped with the technology to provide an array of services from healthcare to enrolling in relief programs for Hamilton County residents. Epic will be available on the bus so that proper documentation can take place as well as ability to schedule appointments. The 513Relief Bus delivers no-cost resources that provide stability. The 513Relief Bus connects residents to resources and services in a way that's never been done before. The 513Relief Bus removes barriers such as access, transportation, and technology. Education: ASN required, BSN preferred. Nursing license required. Experience: Clinical proficiency relevant to primary care, community health or nurse care managementPATIENT POPULATION - (CLINICAL ONLY) Engages in population appropriate communication. Has knowledge of growth and development milestones and tasks. Gives clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment. Involves family/guardian in the assessment, initial treatment and continuing care of the patient. Identifies any physical limitations of the patient and deploys intervention when necessary. Recognizes and responds appropriately to patients/families with behavioral health problems. Interprets population related data and plans care appropriately. Identifies and responds appropriately to different needs resulting from, unique psychological needs or those associated with religious/cultural norms. Performs treatments, administers medication or operates equipment safely. Recognizes and responds to signs/symptoms of abuse or neglect. LEADERSHIP: Understanding of the organizational structures of the unit, hospital and key departments is displayed. Understanding of the Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies and procedures, and unit protocol is demonstrated. With guidance, hospital policies and procedures are interpreted to other staff members including legal implications. Actively participating in problem solving, decision-making and conflict resolution. Maintaining a team environment that encourages retention, development of staff and patient satisfaction. Facilitating the planning, implementation and evaluation of the orientation of the new employees. Is aware of and supports effective use of staff. Promoting economic and efficient use of resources. Delegates tasks to appropriate levels. Utilizes time management skills. Constructive use of time on bus or community center by staff is promoted and maintained. Assuring availability and appropriate use of supplies. Supplies are conserved. Identifying the learning needs of the staff and facilitating methods to meet these needs. ASSESSMENT:
