Responsibilities Recognizes and responds to routine and emergent situations in a competent, effective manner under the direction of a licensed medical staff. May serve as lead and provides guidance to newly assigned staff, as needed. Ensures adherence to patient safety and established related policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to but not limited to telemetry transmitters and lead cables Uses a variety of monitor equipment and techniques pertaining to assigned area; maintain, inspects and monitor equipment and report malfunctions to the appropriate authorities Maintain a variety of reports and documents; may be required to enter data into computer and disseminate information. Completes daily checks to ensure that telemetry transmitter boxes are functional and accounted for. Seeks opportunities to expand knowledge and acquire additional job related skills and abilities by participating in ongoing educational opportunities and attending in-services. Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested. Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge. Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service". Qualifications Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent One (1) year of previous related medical office experience. CPR Certification Preferred Job Requirements: Associate's Degree in related field One (1) year in specialty
