Job Description:

A healthcare organization is seeking a Surgical Nurse for post-operative care. This position is part-time and located in Wilmington, NC. The Surgical Nurse will provide specialized care to patients post-operatively and work with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge and experience in post-operative care and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Assess patients' conditions and health needs
  • Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical information
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care measures
  • Foster a supportive environment and teamwork among colleagues

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in nursing
  • Valid North Carolina Nursing License or Multi-State/Compact
  • Specialized knowledge and experience in post-operative care
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • One-year relevant experience preferred
