We are seeking a skilled sprinkler fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing sprinkler systems. They will also be responsible for cutting, threading, assembling, and bonding all pipes and tubes to ensure they pass every fire inspection. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Relevant degree such as High School and University Degree in Business, Education, English, General Education, Military, Technical, Engineering, Construction, Construction Management. * NICET, OSHA, II, CPVC certification. * Experience testing and troubleshooting fire pumps and standpipe systems. * Experience in dry systems is preferred. * Ability to complete a company-specific safety orientation. * Study of building plans / working drawings. * System operation according to specifications. * Plumbing and pipe system layout. * Fire suppression systems and workplace safety. * Good communication skills. * Dexterity. * Troubleshooting skills. * Install, inspect, and repair sprinkler systems. * Cut, thread, assemble, and bond all pipes and tubes to ensure they pass every fire inspection. * Work independently and as part of a team. * Follow all regulations including OSHA, safety, PPE. * Repair and maintain fire sprinkler systems. * Install and reconfigure piping, correspondence to change order, per NFPA specifications. * Install underground iron and PVC pipe including installing fire hydrants and PVC valves. * Prepare shop drawing packages, submit to local AHJ, apply for permits. * Employ mechanical skills including soldering, brazing, welding, and pipe fitting. * Fit grooved pipe, ductile, copper, and PVC in various mechanical systems. * Read blueprints, install sprinklers, measure length and circumference of pipes to be installed. * Use a variety of equipment such as scissor lifts, hydraulic lifts, ladders, safety equipment, etc. * Start up and shut down equipment in line with company safety procedures for equipment under OSHA requirements.
