THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
The Merchandising & Supplier Operations IT Analyst will have functional, technical and configuration responsibility for implementation and support of ULTA's Merchandising and Supplier Operations systems that includes item master data, vendor master data, site master data, pricing, and procurement. The IT Analyst will be working closely with the cross functional IT team and business on requirements gathering, implementations and on-going support. This position will be part of high performing team in the Merchandising and Supplier Operations systems area.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH ALL OF THESE GOALS BY:

• Application Support: Identifies and resolves issues with applications, following agreed procedures. Uses application management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics. Carries out agreed applications maintenance tasks
• Incident Management: Undertakes the identification, registration, and categorization of incidents. Gathers information to enable incident resolution and promptly escalates incidents as appropriate. Maintains records and advises relevant persons of actions taken
• Problem Management: Investigates problems in systems, processes, and services. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures
• Requirements Definition: Uses established techniques as directed to identify current problems and elicit, specify, and document business functional, data and non-functional requirements for various subject areas with clearly defined boundaries. Assists with implementing the processes for establishing agreed baselines for change and managing the assessment and application of requested changes to those requirements. Assists in defining acceptance tests for the specified requirements
• Release Deployment: Uses the tools and techniques for specific areas of release and deployment activities. Administers the recording of activities, logging of results and documents technical activity undertaken. May carry out early support activities such as providing support advice to initial users
• Development Testing: Identifies requirements and specifications, and test conditions. Designs and creates test cases and test scripts, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording, and reporting outcomes. Executes test cases in accordance with project test plans. nalyzes and documents test activities, result, issues, and risks
• Solution Implementation: Assist in implementing solutions and application as a part of business requirements or enterprise initiatives. Works closely with the stakeholders and cross functional partners during the entire life cycle of the project

• Learn and develop expertise in the business processes, coordinate analysis and activities across multiple teams/areas with best practices in mind
• Must possess ability to tackle parallel tasks and adapt quickly to change
• Ability to self-learn new systems and tasks
• Continuous improvement of processes, design, and documentation
• Willing to be part of the support roster

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or applicable work experience
• 3+ years' experience in an enterprise application implementation environment, retail preferred

• Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders, from executives to implementation team to deliver and enhance the Supplier centric MDM solution using Informatica S360 hosted in Azure
• Configuration, monitoring, deployment, and implementation of Informatica S360 (MDM)
• Knowledge of Informatica Supplier Portal, MDM User Exits, Match Rules, Hierarchy manager, S360 UI, ActiveVOS, MDM Provisioning Tool, Business entity services, Service implementation framework.
• Experience with Informatica Data as a Service (DaaS) for email, postal address and phone verification/validation including AddressDoctor

• 3+ years in Java Programming with at least one year customizing Supplier Portal and AVOS
• 3+ years in MS SQL and Unix scripting is required. Should be able to write efficient queries and complex stored procedures
• Experience in full life cycle implementations, providing superior production support
• Ability to create and maintain documentation such as functional specifications, data mapping, process flows, etc.
• Working experience on interfacing with other applications including with experience with XML and JSON, a plus
• Practical experience using JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence to manage the respective cycles of a project
• Good understanding on batch jobs and their dependencies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal and active listening traits
• Strong accountability and customer focus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with any ETL tools is a plus
• Flexibility of providing support during odd hours and peak seasons
• Proactive work ethic and ability to catch issues before failure
• Self-starter, ability to perform individually and in a team setting
