**This is a full-time, hourly, 40+ hour per week job**

**Pay ranges from $18.00- $23.00 for the right candidate**

Footwise, Inc. is looking for an experienced retail manager for our Corvallis, Oregon shoe store.

Our retail manager is responsible for creating a place that customers repeat shop due to the welcoming atmosphere, friendly salespeople, product expertise and the great selection of comfort and fashion footwear.

This is not a desk job If hired for this position, you will spend most of your time on the sales floor working with customers, modeling and training exceptional customer service and use of expert product knowledge.

You will ensure that procedures are followed and that difficult situations are handled with grace. You will be responsible for visual merchandising and presenting product in a well-organized way that makes it easy for our customers to shop.

Office time will be dedicated to general store organization and planning and scheduling, using reports to monitor both individual and store-performance, making and implementing plans for improvement and working on marketing and store promotions.

You will also meet with other Footwise store managers, buyers and vendors.
