Location: 100% Remote
Seeking a skilledData Engineer with specialized expertise in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), AWS cloud services, and strong SQL/database skills.
This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining data architecture, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of critical data solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes using Oracle ADW and AWS technologies.
- Implement data models and database designs to support business requirements and ensure scalability and performance.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for complex data retrieval and analysis tasks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, ensuring high levels of data quality and availability.
- Implement best practices in data governance and security within Oracle ADW and AWS environments.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data processing and storage capabilities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with a focus on Oracle ADW and AWS services.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake etc.).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience in data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and tools.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty) preferred but not required.
