Overview:

Quincy Medical Group (QMG) has an exciting opportunity for a Phlebotomist to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 155 physicians and providers in West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. Responsibilities:

The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting specimens such as blood, urine, and swabs from patients for analysis. Perform various screening tests. Quincy Medical Group provides on-the-job training for this challenging and rewarding role.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Work location is in Quincy, IL.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and compassionate. Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills when working with patients. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and adaptable to changes departmental needs. Knowledgeable on laboratory procedures and medical terminology.

High school diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program and/or two years of related experience preferred.
