The Center for NeuroPotential has a part-time opening for the dynamic role of a neurofeedback technician. This individual should be strong in technological skills, readiness to learn, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and have an interest in and ability to work with individuals who are receiving mental health services. Prior experience in neurofeedback is not required for this position; we will train you. This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week; in person only - all hours are conducted in our office located in Branford, CT A minimum of an Associates degree is required. Hours will include afternoons and early evenings. the candidate must be reliable. The technician will be trained in the administration of neurofeedback and will work under the direction of a clinical mental health professional. The ideal applicant must view this position as a potential career opportunity. Clients at the Center for NeuroPotential are adults and children with various psychological and medical conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Insomnia, Learning Disorders, PTSD, and Brain Injury. Responsibilities: Running neurofeedback sessions with our clients. This task entails placing an EEG cap on the client's head, setting up the software program and ensuring accuracy, monitoring the session in case technical difficulties arise, and uncapping clients when done Cleaning caps and neurofeedback rooms between patients Interacting with patients with behavioral health concerns Documentation in our electronic health record Recording and uploading QEEGs to a shared folder Administrative duties, as assigned Qualifications: Comfortable with technology Strong attention to detail, highly organized Professional, yet friendly, demeanor Able to work collaboratively with other technicians, administrative staff, and clinicians Responsible and reliable Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week Compensation: $20 hourly
