Our client, a world leader in Pharmaceuticals & In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), is looking for a "IT Associate".

Job Title: IT Associate
Duration: Long-term Contract
Location: Tucson, AZ

The Technical Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in providing technical assistance and support to the user community across various domains including data, voice, video, hardware, and software. They respond promptly to user queries, coordinate resolutions, and document activities while maintaining effective relationships with users.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for internal desktop systems software, hardware, data, voice, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, peripherals, voice/mobile devices, and network issues.
  • Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security.
  • Consult with clients to resolve technical problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver courteous and timely customer service while tracking IT asset inventory.
Skills:
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems and client/server environments.
  • Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Technical skills for analyzing and solving issues related to voice/mobile communication devices.
  • Capable of explaining complex technical processes to non-technical audiences.
  • Capable of troubleshooting customer problems remotely via phone, video, or in person.
Education:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience/certifications
