Hot Shot Driver

SUMMARYThe Hot Shot Driver is responsible for transporting equipment and material throughout and between jobsites.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESObey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation proceduresOperates company vehicle in a safe manner and compliant to all State and Federal DOT standards and regulationsInspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working conditionPerform hot shots and job-related driving duties as assignedAssist crew members and engineer on site to conduct wireline operations safely and efficientlyKeep track of and perform maintenance on equipment and tools in the fieldAssist Shop Foreman and Mechanics as neededUse proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all timesEnsure compliance with DOT and HazMat transportOther duties and projects as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED equivalentValid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with HazMat endorsementPrevious experience with transporting equipment and materialsPrevious experience in the energy services industry preferredAbility to meet all DOT and ATF requirementsMust pass a drug screening and background checkMust be flexible to meet scheduling requirementsMust be able to travel and cross state linesMust be able to proficiently couple, drive, back and un-couple trailersMust be able to use Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)Must have the ability to effectively operate a variety of vehicles (i.e. 10 speed, 8 speed manual transmissions) safely and work reliably both independently and in a team settingCOMPUTERBasic knowledge of MS Office PreferredPRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Must complete and pass all required pre-employment screeningsABOUT THE COMPANYRanger Energy Services is an oil & gas completion and production solutions company with a foundation built on well servicing, wireline, and natural gas processing.
