Managing Litigation Attorney

As a Managing Litigation Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in handling our litigation matters. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire spectrum of litigation, including pretrial, trial, and appellate advocacy. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional legal acumen, particularly in the areas relevant to our practice. A background in complex commercial litigation work dealing with business and real estate disputes is necessary.

Compensation
$125,000 yearly
Responsibilities
Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks
Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis
Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
Qualifications
Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
Ability to use Microsoft Office is required
Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role
Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred
A minimum of 10+ years of work experience
