Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified bilingual RN to join our Emergency Room team. As part of our Clinical Advancement Program, you'll work towards increasing compensation based on your nursing education and certifications. We offer competitive sign-on bonuses, as well as shift differentials for nights and weekends.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients in the ER
  • Assume relief charge duties when designated and provide clinical leadership
  • Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures
  • Care for patients of all ages, including Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groups
  • Administer medication and IV medication via the Seven Rights
  • Assist with special tests and procedures and ensure proper consent has been obtained
  • Institute emergency measures for sudden, adverse developments in patients
  • Encourage patients to actively participate in their own care
  • Requirements:
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Current RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers certification within 30 days of hire
  • Basic Arrhythmia Certification within 1 year of hire
  • PALS Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification within 6 months of hire

Physical Requirements: This is a heavy work position that requires ability to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Working conditions may involve handling bio hazardous materials.
