Stepdown Unit RN Travel Nurse

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Stepdown Unit RN for an exciting travel nursing opportunity. This is a 13-week contract starting ASAP with a night shift schedule. The pay rate is $1941 per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions/side effects
  • Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records
  • Record patient medical information and vital signs
  • Monitor, record, and report patient symptoms or changes in condition
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans

Requirements:

  • Registered nursing license
  • Minimum of one (1) year recent experience in an acute care facility
  • BLS, ACLS certification required
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare team members
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
