Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated UKG Payroll Analyst to join our client's team in Charlotte, NC. The Payroll Analyst is essential in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing for both salaried and hourly employees across multiple states. This role involves direct responsibility for routine payroll operations, troubleshooting issues, and providing crucial support to the Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accurate and timely payroll for salaried and hourly employees using UKG.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and provide assistance to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues, ensuring long-term solutions.
  • Audit and report payroll deductions and compliance with tax and benefits regulations.
  • Complete regular reconciliations and audits, including 401(k), HSA, and FSA contributions.
  • Support annual and quarterly audits, such as 401(k) testing and workers' compensation insurance.
  • Assist in payroll tax audits and provide general support to the Accounting team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of multi-state payroll processing experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Certifications: Experience with UKG highly preferred.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of payroll processing systems, state tax, and overtime laws across multiple states.
  • Key Competencies: Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft O365 products.
