We're looking for an experienced leader to lead the Deltek VantagePoint implementation efforts that will replace the CRM and Project technology at Universal Engineering Sciences. This is a key strategic role, as part of the ongoing growth and enhancement of our company. The solution being designed compiles the best practices across the 20+ companies acquired to-date to create a future way of doing business. The ERP Lead is responsible for leading the successful deployment and sustainment of our Deltek VantagePoint Modules; accountable for managing key project deliverables, including delivering business and technology requirements, maximizing the system's native capabilities, partnering with key stakeholders to get the business ready for the new system implementation. This role is also responsible to support current users and troubleshoot issues. The incumbent must be able to actively participate in a team of internal employees and external consultants to achieve successful project delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the configuration and delivery of the new Deltek VantagePoint ERP system to be rolled out across the 20+ companies with a staggered delivery over the next two years
  • Partner with internal and external resources to gather and prioritize business/technical requirements
  • Lead the Help & Support team efforts, while working with users to solve system/operational issues
  • Assess necessary skill sets and competencies of team members to accomplish project objectives, identify, and recommend specific resource requirements
  • Lead the acquisition of related software, products, and services
  • Conducts qualitative and quantitative research on project tasks, tools, and/or specifications
  • Completing any tasks assigned by the leaders in an efficient and timely manner
  • Travel is approximately 40-50%
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Qualifications:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related field
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years previous experience in Deltek's ERP Systems (Vision or VantagePoint)
  • Business savvy; ability to connect the dots between functions and across various regions/ branches
  • Highly organized and able to multitask
  • Demonstrated strong partnering skills
