Job DescriptionAs an Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer, at North Okaloosa Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Responsible for all General Ultrasound exams. The sonographer must be able to work independently and produce high quality studies.Must be able to produce and evaluate ultrasound images and related data that are used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis. The Diagnostic Sonographer must acquire and maintain specialized technical skills and medical knowledge to render quality patient care. Must know and perform all clerical/administrative support duties associated within the Department. Should be able to perform the various examinations and procedures as outlined in the department policy and procedure manual.Requirements:* General Ultrasound and/or vascular experience preferred* Valid Vascular registry required within six (6) months of hire* Current BLS from the AHA OR ARC* On-Call requiredAt North Okaloosa Medical Center, we believe in providing convenient care in a comfortable setting.
