Sign on bonus of $5,000 eligible to external hires only # DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Echo Tech performs transthoracic echocardiography, stress test echocardiography, Transesophageal echocardiography and other non-invasive cardio-diagnostic procedures including 12 lead ECG, holter hook up, event monitor hook up, stress testing and other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS # Professional/Educational Associates Degree preferred#in Cardiac Sonography from a CAAHEP#Accredited school. Credentialed or eligible for credential as a member of the Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) granted by the registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) granted by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Echo Sonographer#experience preferred. DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. # Personal Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct. Desire and ability to cooperate with or under the direction of others. Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty. Ability to follow directions accurately.
