Job Description

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeks a Certified Nurse Midwife at our - Burke County Health Department. This candidate would split their time between our health dept and Lenoir, NC

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Licensure Requirements
• Completion of an accredited graduate -level Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) program with a focus in Women's Health
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Certified Nurse Midwife) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.
• Board certification if required by the Department

Professional Experience Requirements:
• At least 3years+ as a Women's Health APP is needed

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
• Demonstrated clinical competency.

• Must feel comfortable with obstetrics and gynecological care.

• Preventive Care
• Management of Acute and Chronic health issues
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
• Effective interaction and care of patients
• Documentation of medical records for accurate billing
