Cameo Consulting Group, LLC, a government contracting and staffing practice based out of Alexandria, VA, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in servicing one of our Federal clients located in Albuquerque NM. The positions is full-time, long-term in nature, and available upon contract award. Duties Provide outpatient pharmacy services to patients from an age group ranging from pediatrics to geriatric on a daily basis.Perform tasks at the request of the Director, Pharmacy Department or his/her authorized designee; the list of task are in direct relation to the services of the pharmacy department and include but not limited to the following: answering phone calls, taking refill requests, assisting patients to determine if they have refills, filling prescriptions, assisting pharmacists, use and replenishment of ScriptPro and Pyxis automation, dispensing medication after verified by pharmacist, curbside delivery, inventory management i.e. ordering and putting the order up, return to stock, and checking outdates. The above tasks are the minimum expectations of the contractor.Other Qualifications Education: Must be from an accredited college/universityLicense/Registration: Employees shall have a current valid unrestricted Pharmacy Technician certification from anyone of the United States, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States.Experience: Employees shall have a minimum of 3 or more years of pharmacy services in a hospital department of pharmacy setting, ambulatory health clinic, medical rehabilitation facilities, commercial/retail drug store, such as Walgreens, CVS, eCertifications: Employees shall have a current certificate for Basic Life Support (BLS).Health Requirements of Contracted HealthcareProviders: he following are additional requirements for specific vaccine preventable diseases. •Measles: - Vaccinations with 2 doses of live measles or MMR vaccines administered at least 28 days apart, - Laboratory evidence of immunity, - Laboratory confirmation of disease, or - Birth before 1957. •Mumps: - Vaccinations with 2 doses of live mumps or MMR vaccines administered at least 28 days apart, - Laboratory evidence of immunity, - Laboratory confirmation of disease, or - Birth before 1957.Hepatitis B: Influenza PertussisMust have written documentation of TB test (TST or IGRA) within the last 12 months.About Cameo: Cameo provides a competitive benefit package to its employees that is replete with training programs and continuous education features that few others even attempt to duplicate.
