Mid-Senior QA:

Optomi in partnership with leading auto finance company is seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Tester who will play a pivotal role in testing processes. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in automation, with a focus on supporting and leading automation initiatives, creating comprehensive test cases, and documenting them effectively. This role will involve ramping up automation efforts. The candidate should possess a strong background in testing both .NET and Azure environments, SQL databases, and React applications.

Must Have Skills/Requirements, in order of Priority:

  • 5 years of total experience, with 2-3 years specifically in automation testing.
  • Strong background in Azure, with extensive experience working with Azure functions and services within the Azure platform.
  • Prior experience in auto finance domain is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Selenium for automated testing.
  • Familiarity with Cucumber for BDD testing.
  • Strong background in manual testing methodologies.
  • Proven expertise in automation scripting and execution.
  • Experience in regression testing techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead automation efforts within the testing team, guiding and mentoring junior members.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and other relevant tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test cases.
  • Document test cases, test results, and any defects identified during testing phases.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing across .NET, Azure, SQL, and React environments.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization activities.
  • Analyze test results and provide meaningful insights to the development team.
