This diversity not only promises a rich working experience but also secures your employment with us through our extensive, fully-loaded backlog of work.Your Role in Our TeamAs a Journeyman Ironworker at LPR, you'll be instrumental in erecting structural iron and steel, ensuring that each project reflects quality and precision, completed within set timelines.Required SkillsStructural Expertise: Proficient in bolting-up structural members.Welding Skills: Competence in 3G and 4G welding.Rigging and Hoisting: Skilled in rigging structural-steel members and hoisting beams, girders, and columns using cranes or directing equipment operators.Detail-Oriented: Expertise in detailed tasks like installing various steel components, safety installations, and joist spreading.Assembling Acumen: Adept in assembling and plumbing structural steel, installing decks, and welding steel stairs, handrails, and guardrails.Field Fabrication: Ability to perform field fabrication or assembly as per blueprints or instructions.Additional Skills: Proficiency in inserting sealing strips, wiring, insulating materials, and more in various structures.Required ExperienceUse all safety and personal protective equipment for the purpose intended. Use of safety harness and lanyard for proper tie off.Operate boom lift and scissor lift.Pull, push, or pry structural-steel members into approximate positions for bolting into place.Walk/stand on girders or other structural-steel members to position them or use rope to guide them into position.EOE/Vet/Disability
