Requirements:

  • Active RN License
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • BLS Certification
  • 18 months experience in an acute care PACU setting

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and document changes in condition
  • Plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
  • Collect and analyze data and information from healthcare members and document nursing diagnoses
  • Educate patients and their families
  • Revise and document the plan of care according to evaluation and medical changes
