Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer

What does a great Sr. DevOps Engineer do at Fiserv?

We are currently seeking a versatile and experienced professional to join our team in the role of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer. In this dual role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our DevOps tools and processes, focusing on Azure DevOps, GitLab, Harness, Jenkins, API, Portal, and CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will contribute to the reliability and performance aspects of our systems in a Site Reliability Engineer capacity. What you will do:

  • DevOps Tool Management: Administer and maintain Azure DevOps, GitLab, Harness, Jenkins, and other relevant DevOps tools. Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of the entire DevOps toolchain.

  • CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes. Collaborate with development teams to optimize build and deployment processes.

  • API and Portal Management: Oversee API and Portal deployments, ensuring reliability and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs seamlessly.

  • Release Management: Coordinate and manage software releases, including versioning and rollback strategies. Work closely with QA and development teams to streamline release processes.

  • Site Reliability Engineering: Monitor, analyze, and enhance the reliability and performance of systems. Implement practices to ensure system scalability, availability, and fault tolerance.

  • Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Respond to and troubleshoot incidents promptly to ensure system availability. Conduct post-incident analysis and implement preventive measures.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment on DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering objectives.

What you will need to have:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.

  • Experience and strengths in managing Azure technologies, including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Pipeline.

  • Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

  • Familiarity with API and Portal management in a cloud environment.

  • Experience with incident response, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

  • Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and other Infrastructure as Code tools.

  • We’re better together This role is fully on-site (all 5 days in the office) for the first 90 days and Monday through Thursday after that (Fridays can be optional).

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, Hawaii, New York or Washington.
