This is an individual contributor role, and you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. With success, you will have the opportunity to develop a team and further resources.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development:

Identify, target, and pursue potential clients, partners, and opportunities for growth within the warehousing and logistics industry.

Build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities by leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.

Develop and implement innovative strategies to win new clients and secure long-term contracts.

Revenue Growth

Meet and exceed annual sales targets, driving revenue growth through a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.

Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute sales plans, forecasting, and budgeting.

Market Expansion

Research, analyze, and monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities to expand our market presence.

Act as a subject matter expert in the warehousing and logistics industry, providing valuable insights to the organization.

Sales Strategy and Planning

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives.

Create and maintain a high-performance sales culture

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with various departments, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Provide feedback to the executive team on market demands and customer feedback.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)

3-5 Years Minimum track record of success in an individual contributor sales role within the warehousing and logistics industry.

Extensive industry knowledge and a strong network of contacts.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a true hunter mentality.

Strong leadership and people management skills (if required to build and manage a sales team in the future).

Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and prospects.

Noamex Incorporated

In 1962, two brothers from Brooklyn launched Noamex, Inc., a small business warehousing solutions company. Headquartered in East New York, their Brooklyn warehouse quickly grew to 60,000 square feet of storage space and employed over 200 workers.

Over the years, Noamex served as a processing and distribution center for international and domestic clothing brands.

In 2018, the owners decided to expand Noamex and its operations, working side-by-side with logistics experts to take their distribution efforts to the next level.

The new team quickly expanded the Noamex footprint across the Northeast region, and later they moved into Hialeah and Opa Locka, Floridatransforming Noamex into the full-service, third-party logistics firm it is today.
