Techniplas has long-term relationships with many of the world's leading automotive and industrial OEMs. SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for providing inventory control support for the site by monitoring and managing product flow throughout physical processing and ERP system transactional requirements to ensure optimal performance of accuracy, effectiveness, and discipline. The Inventory Control Coordinator will lead and manage inventory control requirements and corrective actions to stabilize and sustain transactional performance of all materials through the ERP system while supporting material planning requirements and system process conformance. JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. * Monitors and maintains accuracy of current inventory levels of raw, WIP, and Finished goods items * Maintains ERP system database integrity of inventory items, helps perform and coordinate physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to system count with Finance group approval in accordance with cycle counting procedures * Investigates inventory discrepancies for components used in manufacturing setting to ensure accurate / adequate inventory levels for production scheduling * Ensures Work in Process and Finished Goods inventories accurate for reporting, scheduling, shipping, and procurement lines of sight * Assists in closing out of production reporting data of open shop floor work orders to facilitate real-time materials backflushing of components * Maintains log of pending and approved inventory adjustment requirements with Pareto of root cause determinations to drive continuous improvement * Reconciles daily shift negative report and variance items across various locations and bins at raw, WIP, and FG levels * Performs duties with materials planning, scheduling, and/or cycle counting in back-up role as required. * Provides visibility to cross functional team (manufacturing, warehouse, materials group) on improvements for work order closure, transactional discipline, inventory locations and valuation, etc. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES): * High School degree required. Associates degree preferred. * 3 to 5 years related experience. Additional education may be substituted for experience and vice versa. * Assignments require a good working knowledge of manufacturing procedures, operating methods and systems/process management as well as knowledge of inventory, supply chain, ERP, and continuous improvement initiatives.
