(e.g. physical/mental limitations, current physiological status regarding the testing procedure). + Reviews procedure request provided by ordering physician, and complies with all standard lab protocols. + Documents history in the technologist report. + Performs procedures according to Laboratory standards and protocols. + Implements alternative methods or adjusts recordings to obtain optimal recording of clinical EEG, AEEG data. + Prepares and adjusts recording equipment as needed. + Takes appropriate actions during patient emergency situations and ensures patient safety, including electrical equipment safety in the Labs at all times. + Accurately and thoroughly Completes documents, forms, and reports. + Troubleshoots recording equipment and coordinates repairs as needed. + Attend technical staff meetings and morning huddles, providing professional input for the development of procedures and protocols. + Participates in conferences and technical meetings on a local, regional, and national basis. The EEG Tech must have the following: + High School diploma or equivalent required + One year of EEG experience required.
