Option Period One: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025.

Job Related Taskings:
1. Gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and programmers
2. Provide advice to the PM and PO on backlog prioritization
3. Create user stories, personas and storyboards
4. Determine information architecture and create sitemaps
5. Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
6. Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
7. Build page navigation buttons and search fields
8. Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
9. Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
10.Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
11.Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
12.Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
13.Conduct usability testing
14.Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
15.Develop task flows and wireframes based on user needs
16.Create supporting artwork for Minimum Viable Products
17.Create user training artefacts (including short video)

Essential Qualifications 1. University degree in Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, Human Factors, Human Centered Design and Engineering, or related discipline OR 5 years’ experience as a UI/UX Designer
2. Strong experience in the development of artefacts such as sketches, prototypes, high-fidelity mock-ups, motion design, and project documentation
3. Proficient in a variety of design and prototyping tools — Sketch, Miro, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, or others
4. Knowledge of Section 508 and W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines
5. Experience working with teams embracing Agile DevSecOps principles
6. Strong skills with User Centered Design (UCD) methods
7. Able to work with a balanced team approach sharing context and decisions
8. Able to work with the Product Manager (PM) to iterate on the backlog
9. Flexible with dynamic changes to the product
10. Excellent management, communication, and presentation skills
11. Experience collaborating with a team of programmers with a varying of skillsets
12. Experience working in a rapid and interactive development environment
13. UI Design, UX Design, User Experience Analyst, or Customer-Centered Design Certification
