Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform cycle counts on inventory items and evaluate variances
• Research inventory discrepancies to understand why they occurred and how to minimize them moving forward
• Present cycle counts to the Inventory Control Manager for approval with explanations of inventory discrepancies
• Work accounting with team members to improve perpetual inventory system
• Prepare for year-end physical inventory
• Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
• Help maintain accurate costing through the gathering of data for review
• Perform physical inventory of fixed assets
• Work with the Engineering department to address consumption issues and bill of material (BOM) issues

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• High attention to detail
• Problem-solving abilities
• Strong computer skills including building and using spreadsheets (MS Excel and/or Google Sheets)
• Experience with an ERP/MRP system
• Effective communication and people skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with co-workers
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven time management skills with the ability to respond to time-critical issues and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines
• Desire to expand personal knowledge and skills
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as part of the job function
