Our Intake Case workers assist clients at the DHHS offices by translating information to DHHS case workers, ensuring effective communication and understanding between parties.We are looking to add 2 Intake Case Workers to the Hamtramck office:English/Arabic English/Bengali RESPONSIBILITIESAssess clients' needs through a screening and intake processFlexibility to relocate to other DHHS offices when neededProvide interpretation and translation services in English/Arabic and/ or English/Bengali Assist clients in filling out all required DHHS formsAct as a liaison between clients and DHHS staffMaintain, with confidentiality, clients record and informationMaintain a daily and monthly unit reportsProvide supervisor/administrator office with a monthly report accordinglyParticipate in in-service and training programs to ensure quality service deliveryReferral clients to the other services programs that provided by ACCConduct all forms of pre-hearing and administrative hearing as requested by DHHS staffDuties assigned by the ACC-DHHS Director or ManagementAttend all the ACC-DHHS division staff meeting as scheduledComply fully with the rules and regulation of your work place inside the DHHS officesAny other duties as may be assignedQualifications:A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related fieldProficiency in multiple languages (Must be fluent in Arabic/ Chaldean languages, or Bengali languages (In addition to English Language)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in client advocacy and supportAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environmentIn addition to the qualifications mentioned earlier, intake case workers must have proficiency in computer skills, including working with Microsoft Excel and Outlook, as well as familiarity with different databases to effectively manage and update client information and records.Perks & Benefits:Full medical, dental, vision health benefits with low costs and deductiblesGuaranteed full-time pay - competitive salariesShort-term and long-term disability insuranceGenerous paid time off (20 days a year)14.5 paid holidays403(b) Retirement Plan
