We do this by empowering our clinicians, investing in our people, and caring for the communities we serve.The TMS Technician will play an active role in coordinating patient care, participating in the consultation and assessment process, offering psychoeducational information, and working with other healthcare professionals/agencies. We are looking for an individual who will provide Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments to our patients. TMS treats those suffering with major depression and OCD. The ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent patient care and treat patients struggling with depression, anxiety and/or OCD with compassion.Administer TMS treatments according to specific physician protocols.Ensure compliance with research protocols.Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact and TMS system setup throughout treatment.Record psychiatric rating scales and session notes in NextGen.Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression and/or anxiety.Assist in scheduling patient follow up appointments.Perform various tasks related to administrative tasks, patient care, and TMS treatment.The QualificationsMinimum of one year of direct patient care experience.TMS Certification desired (see below)*.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.EMR and/or NextGen experience desired.Bachelor's degree preferably with a major in Life or Psychological Sciences or a related field of study preferred.Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and oral.Ability to work well with a team and independently.Demonstrated ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and interface well with patients in a mental-health setting.*While TMS certification is desired, we will offer a one on one training program to those who don't have within the first 90 days of employment.The pay for this position is $21 to $24 per hour.
