Job Type Full-timeDescriptionOne of Georgia's largest behavioral healthcare providers, Highland Rivers provides compassionate, professional treatment and recovery services to adults, children, families and veterans affected by mental health issues, substance abuse and addiction, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our purpose is to help every individual recover and live independent, successful and fulfilling lives.Highland Rivers Intensive Treatment Residential (ITR) Program is to provide a residential setting that assists individuals to successfully maintain stable housing in the community, promote their recovery and foster self-sufficiency.Job Description:Assist with daily living activities, monitoring, and providing support to individuals residing in a 24/7 residential non gender-specific Licensed Personal Care home through the Office of Healthcare Facilities. This facility ensures the safety and wellbeing of individuals, with respect to appropriate boundaries.Prepares and maintains records of individuals' progress and services delivered,reporting changes in condition to manager or supervisor.Facilitates life skills groups, including education on personal hygiene, nutrition, money management, and interpersonal skills.Provides structured activities that promote socialization, recovery, wellness, self-advocacy, development of natural supports, and maintenance of community living skills.Monitors urine screen analysis (if needed) and self-administration of medication in accordance with agency policies and procedures, to encourage accountability.Provides transportation for individuals to appointments and activities in the community.Ensures and provides high quality, compassionate, and ethical delivery of services to improve program and organizational performance.Assists with service related compliance.Intervenes, stabilizes and manages acute crisis situations as needed.Assist in providing additional coverage during increased census/acuity and emergencies.Maintains confidentiality for all indirect/direct service in accordance with agency policies and HIPPA policies.Ascend Community Staffing Partners, LLC does not discriminate with regard to employment, compensation, place of work, or promotion because of race, color, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, genetic information, age or national origin.English-Spanish bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
