Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesDevice fabrication and assembly includes developing and fabricating special fixtures and appliances needed to manufacture end items. Activity includes working with intricate assemblies and or instruments using manual dexterity while fabricating, polishing, and shaping small repeatable parts and assemblies. The incumbent will read and interpret technical drawings. Extensive prior use of calipers, micrometers & microscopes is required.SkillsPerform brazing, welding, and drilling of small stainless steel parts; also use polishing and other manual manufacturing methodsAble to use a microscope and or similar devices to aid close-up workPerform machine work to shape instruments including buffing, grinding, and drillingAbility to operate EDM through prior experience or taught skillsUse of measurement instruments including micrometers and calipersPossess a mechanical aptitude with practical information retentionSuperior manual hand dexterity and ability to repeat shapesSalary is dependent upon experience. We offer our customers and distributors a wide range of custom products and rapid order fulfillment. We are a certified ISO 13485 company and have a rigorous Quality Management System. Our production operations include basic small product manufacturing and inspection equipment and numerous specialized (mostly developed and fabricated in-house) fabrication tools. We have an ISO Class 8 cleanroom.
